Commission on the Status of Women
Take action at the international level for two weeks every March in New York City
Since 1998, The International Grail has maintained an active presence at the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). The Grail facilitates participation of an international delegation of women and girls to engage with other NGO’s and country representatives to promote women’s rights, health, education, and international solidarity. A priority is ensuring participation of girls to strengthen their voice, interest and experience in international cooperation and policy making.
If selected, you will go to New York City for two weeks of challenging events, living and working together to gain greater insight into the work of the Grail and its role in our local communities addressing UN Sustainable Development Goals. The Grail sponsors two parallel events for women and girls, which you will help plan and facilitate.
As a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), The Grail has had consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 1998 and as a founding member of UFER since 1953.
