Summer Crew at The Grail
A paid summer leadership and experiential learning initiative for ages 14–22, open to anyone for whom woman or girl is a meaningful identifier or lived experience. The Grail’s Summer Crew is a unique opportunity to learn real-world skills, connect with others across different backgrounds, and grow into your leadership potential with guidance from women mentors. Crew members take on a variety of hands-on, environmental, and community projects at Grailville, our 70+ acre center just outside of Loveland, Ohio.
Applications are closed for our summer 2026 program. If your interested in the program, please register for our monthly newsletter for updates or email volunteer@grail-us.org with questions.
What Makes Crew Different?
Summer Crew is not a job. It’s designed to help you grow.
We’ll assign you tasks but let you figure out the details. Why? Because part of leadership is learning to figure things out, experiment, collaborate, fail, and try again. Bring your or ideas too! If you see something that needs done or could help the world, we want to hear about it and we’ll support you as you learn.
You’ll:
- Develop confidence in your decision-making
- Practice asking for help and giving support
- Learn how to work through challenges as a team
- Discover your strengths — and your growth edges
