Celebration of HOPE

Saturday & Sunday, OCT 26 – 27, 2024

Trina Paulus

The Celebration of Hope centered on Trina Paulus’ story “Hope for the Flowers” which is marking it’s 50th anniversary of publication.

This book, the story of two little caterpillars, is an allegorical telling of the Grail story of quest, faith and transformation.  There is an exhibit of 36 large canvas panels of images of Trina’s artwork from the book,   as well as an installation of over 60 handmade paper butterflies “flying” in the central clerestory space in the Oratory.

As Grail sisters we celebrate Trina’s wonderful long career in life and Grail- making art, teaching and inspiring others, raising butterflies, and sending aloft a kaleidoscope of prayers for the world. At 93 she is still celebrating the beauty of our earth and continuing to nudge it along in transformation toward better.

Please join us as we wish Happy & Hope-filled Birthday to “Hope for the Flowers” for its 50th birthday and to The Grail in the U.S. for its 80th.
